I got back home last Tuesday after two weeks on the beautiful, sunny and interesting island of Sicily….
…where I had a room with a view……
where my panama hat and I survived the Mediterranean climate and the journey back from Palermo to Gatwick through a thunder storm from blue skies to black clouds…..
and we are now both safely back here in Lewes ready to run a series here on my Sicilian adventures all next week on these daily blogs. I hope you will join me.
My hat comes from Lewes too but sometimes it gets a little jealous that i live just round the corner from where he was born, the ideal shop, The Vintage Shirt Company (see links) run by my friend Catherine Darcy, where, when that sad time comes, I shall be able to find another.
