After the rain in my Lewes garden

After a miserably wet weekend here in Lewes, England, the sun is almost shining and, so far, there has been no rain. After the demise of my gladioli under the weight of water, see yesterday’s blog, at least that weirdly late harvest of tomatoes can go ahead. I am now waiting on those chili peppers and still live in hope.

I like them plump and firm, just right. – my tomatoes that is. They look good too but just imagine if I was growing them in Greece. Hmmm.
