A rose garden looks good even in the rain.

It might be raining but my garden can still cheer me up. The roses have arrived into their first flush and they have never looked better. I’m particularly pleased with the bright red climber at the end, Danse de feu, which grows and blooms in the part of the garden that gets practically no sun. The red is so vibrant that you could almost do without the sun itself.

I will being taking some more photographs of the garden as the season progresses but I’m taking a writing break for a couple of weeks and, in the meanwhile, I shall be posting a mini photographic festival each day and some of my published poetry. Hope you enjoy it.
