Spiders and snails in my Lewes garden

It’s that time of year, I love late September in England, maybe it’s because it’s when I was born or maybe it’s just because it is often very beautiful around here with the low lying sun, long shadows and  the beginnings of all those changes in leaf colour. I’m often inspired to start new projects and to look inside and find that my hope is renewed.

This morning was a typical late September time in my garden.

I walk out barefoot onto the cool brick path, hear a crunching sound, walk up the steps and my face is ensnared in a garden spider’s web.  Sorry spider, sorry snail.

Enjoy your late September weekend wherever you are, my readers.
